It All Starts With a Step

When the 2020 pandemic hit due to isolation and work related matters I did not take care of my body properly and thus I have started gaining weight.

I have changed from left to right in 9 months, sticking to my plan / 10k steps a day – before and after results

The first picture is from 2020, November. I was weighing 100 KG at that point, unhealthiest ever…

Then I started walking 10k steps a day starting 2021. In 4 months I had lost 12 kilograms!!! (Second picture shows it, I am ~85 KG at that point)

After 9 months I have lost WHOPPING 35 KG in total!! Weighing ~65 KG

Did this all only by walking 10k steps a day and watching what I eat. THAT IS IT! IT IS THAT SIMPLE!

And everybody can replicate this because it depends on a very simple mathematical equation.

The Starting Line

Before embarking on my 10k steps a day journey, I found myself trapped in a cycle of unhealthy habits and excess weight. Lethargy weighed me down both physically and mentally, and I knew something had to change. It was time to take control of my health and rewrite my story.

Step By Step – The Journey Begins

With determination in my heart and a pedometer in hand, I set out on my quest to walk 10,000 steps every single day. At first, it wasn’t easy. The road ahead seemed daunting, and doubts crept into my mind. But with each step, I felt a sense of empowerment and progress. I began to savor the rhythm of my footsteps, knowing that each one was bringing me closer to my goal.

The Turning Point – The Progress and Persistence

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, I witnessed incredible changes taking place within me. After nine months of unwavering dedication and countless steps taken, I stood at the finish line of my journey transformed both inside and out. Not only had I shed 35 kilograms of weight, but I had also gained a newfound appreciation for the power of consistency and resilience. Walking 10,000 steps a day had become more than just a habit – it was a lifestyle that had reshaped my body, mind, and spirit.

Walking 10k steps sounds easy but there are certain thing to consider. Things like:

  • Doing it everyday, not breaking motivation and when you break how to step back into the game
  • Watching what you eat and most importantly controlling what you eat mentally
  • Using psychological cycle patterns for weight loss that are endorsed by https://www.nih.gov (National Institute of Health), Harvard University and alike

YOU can do this as well. At first I thought I had some kind of slow metabolism, body problems or simply “I am stuck this way” but following my strategy and refining it along the way helped me the become the person who I am now.
